“ Primitive + Contemporary ”

Human beings have been making pottery using soil since 18,000 years ago.

What could I do as a Ceramist living in today’s age?

I can find Japanese aesthetic senses in myself
that find beauty in its natural state and unpredictability.

Tears, Trace, Bending… those stand for an artist breathing at that moment.

With great respect for nature and its eternal history from the beginning,
I add the Present for the future.

I would like to create something that makes it possible to be connected
and empathize with people.

“Beyond time, space and all differences.”

Thank you.

Primitive + Contemporary
